I see you scratching your head - "What gives?" you ask.
Granny has blogged 3 days in a row now...
Well, I'll tell you;
I have decided I want to do a December Daily album this year.

So many Christmases have passed, and so many precious memories lost of when our kids were small - wouldn't it be great if all those Decembers had been documented?
...All the Christmas concerts, all the letters to Santa, all the Christmas morning reactions?
Maybe this isn't the best year to start this tradition - with the father-in-laws' passing, the job loss, etc. But you know, things are learned, and relationships strengthen during hard times, so why not record those too?
Life is not always a bed of roses - sometimes it's a mess, and we have to figure out on our own how to survive it.
Anyway, I haven't got an album put together, or time in which to do one now, but I can start recording each December day, and later when I'm out of work again and wondering what to do with myself, I can pull from the thoughts jotted here and pick and choose which ones we may want to keep.
Frustrations today - hubby is finalizing funeral arrangements.
When we woke up this morning, we each found a note from our son in our email boxes.
He had not only composed a song for his grandpa during the night, but he recorded it, and transcribed the sheet music to go with it.
(Poor boy, I wonder - did he sleep last night?)
I wish I knew how to share it here - it is so beautiful!
As for me, I'm be cleaning house, doing laundry, and fussing with the computer trying to get the Sunday music printed.
(Grrrr - computers are so awesome - when they work. >.< )
...A little cyber shopping on the side.
Things are looking up here, there's hope for the Christmas mess - it's starting to clear up now.
Off to the library - I need another book...
.
"The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown,
Of all trees that are in the wood,
The holly bears the crown:
O, the rising of the sun,
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ,
Sweet singing in the choir."
