Dog Days of Summer...
I have been a bit anxious the last few weeks - been falling into a new routine, but not liking it much.
My daughter got a new puppy, but she is working full time, and when she's not working, she's off with her boyfriend. My days now involve sitting home keeping that thing fed, cleaning up his messes and trying to keep him from killing my dog.
Long story short - I have started to miss Las Vegas. It was lonely there, but at least it was quiet, and all my craft stuff was in order so I could get to it and entertain myself when I needed to.
My husband is working his butt off trying to create some order among the chaos of combining our two households - and admittedly, I haven't been much help. He has in his mind how he wants things, so it's kind of fruitless for me to try - I only get in his way.
My top priorities are his last priorities, so it's been pretty frustrating.
All I do around here (besides wrangling dogs) is wash dishes, take out garbage, pin things on Pinterest and wish and dream. Not the best use of my time, but it keeps me from blowing my brains out...
