December 2

At 9:25 this morning, Grandpa's earthly body finally succumbed to age and disease.

His spirit, however, is alive and strong somewhere - I have no doubt.
I have never seen anyone fight so hard to stay on this earth - such a strong love for home and family, that he just refused to go so many times before...

Rest in peace Grandpa Taylor - you have justly earned your reward.

"Come, come thou bleak December wind,
And blow the dry leaves from the tree!
Flash, like a Love-thought, thro'me, Death
And take a Life that wearies me."
- Samuel Taylor Coleridge, 1772-1834, Fragment 3
