...Was spent on the road. Saying good bye to my girls was so hard!
We got off earlier than expected, and made good time - until we got here.
It took us almost as long to find the store and our motel as it did to get down here.
My navigational skills need work...
We toured the store, and wow - holding a job fair this week seems really premature now.
The floors have been torn up right down to the dirt - they are putting down new cement, the ceiling tiles are all gone... It's nothing but an empty shell. What will a boat load of employees do for a couple of months while they finish?
In my fantasies about this place, we were on the outskirts of the city - but that is so not true.
We are right in the middle of everything! We are destined to become city dwellers!
...Can I really do this?
Hmmm... Recalculating.
It's really bothering us that we haven't seen any Christmas lights anywhere - then again, we turned in pretty early last night.
Stress.
