If we got to choose where and when we were born, I certainly wouldn't have chosen the Summer. It's not my favorite season - I've never done well in the heat.
I would have preferred the Spring or the Fall...

In spite of time and place, life has been good.
My youngest got up at the crack of... 10, this morning.
(An enormous sacrifice on her part!) and cooked breakfast for me.
Later, the family will be here to make me pizza from scratch (and my daughter in law just showed up with a yummy home-made ice cream cake to put in my freezer!)
