Milestones

It's tax day, which is always a bitter / sweet day around here...

Bitter, for obvious reasons, but also sweet because it is the birthday of my darling daughter Melissa.

This year is one of those "milestone" years for her.
We chatted about it the other night, and it seems like she's in a good place about it. Life hasn't turned out exactly how she planned, but she's content.

I'm so grateful for her - she's an awesome daughter - better than I deserve.
