Yesterday my Church announced that they will be building a temple - not just here in my little town, but practically right in my neighborhood. There have been rumors going around about this for several months - but now it's official.
The site they chose surprises me for multiple reasons - it's not on a hill, as per usual, it's not the prettiest spot in town, and so on...
But it is right off the freeway, and will be easily seen and easy to access.
My girls have both been stunned by the news - their reaction was; "Why here? This is such a grungy little town." LOL
...I can't argue with that - even the nicest neighborhoods here would be considered pretty average anywhere else... But it is also central to a lot of the small towns around here, and I have no doubt it will be a busy place.
I could argue both sides till the cows come home - but I really don't care what the reasons are. Whatever the case, I'm just delighted and thrilled - it will be walking distance from my house.

We got some serious news about my husband's only brother's health.
Don't really want to discuss it here, but the family is all very concerned.
